2 Doses talks about his recent album Tha Over-Dose

Today on our Hot Seat we have William Caudillo Jr who goes by the artist name 2 Doses . Let’s have a chat with him.

Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
2 Doses: Hey how’s it going y’all , it’s ya boy 2 Doses straight up from Merced California and I’m about to let ya take a little dip into my mind .

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
2 Doses: Man growing up around my father he would always bust rhymes or just make funny changes to songs  so that was one of the things that made me want to rhyme  and get into music .Then when I seen Tupac’s California love video I knew music was one thing I would always want to do. I’ve always been a fan of the music. I got into my first booth my freshman year in high school back in 2003 and been trying to get Music out as much as I could ever since .
2 Doses- I honestly don’t see it as my debut album, for the fact that i has this album done in a long period of time and I just had to get it out. I enjoy the album very much but for what it was , it was more of a trial run.

Twist Online : Any particular track from the Album that’s your favorite?
2 Doses : I would have to say “F&F” would be my fav song off the album followed up by Betty Crocker . Just the Vibe and the beat of the song gets stuck in my head. I like every song but that one I normally slap in the whip .

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
2 Doses : I’ve honestly have got some great feed back from the music . There has a been a few people who don’t care for it but hey everyone has their own opinions right . My new single “Forget-Me-Nots” has been getting some.
Great feedback as well. It was just one of those songs I heard the beat and instantly the song came to me so I went straight to the studio and dropped it.

Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
2 Doses : Honestly to me they are a whole separate beast in their own . To me it’s like comparing apples to oranges . I love doing both . I can def say that being on stage brings out my adrenaline out like no other in a good way but being in that both brings me peace . I just get lost in the music . Both I feel very comfortable doing .

Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve?
2 Doses : Yes I’ve been training to get my mind , body and soul right . With the music just gonna get ready to start off  2019 with some more shows , photoshoots and appearances.

Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
2 Doses :  At the moment I’m working on a mixtape with Yung M.D from my town  that we will be releasing free. Starting up a lil group called “The Regs” so right now most my focus is to get that going to give  our fans more music  to rock with . After that then I’ll start on my next solo  album that I will consider my debut album , but for now my lips are sealed with that and you will have to wait and see.
