A chit chat with the rapper HotPink

Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
HotPink : My entertainment name is HotPink. I’m a 33 yr old entrepreneurial rapper out of Atlanta, Ga.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
HotPink : I would say my poetic skills inspired me to become a rap artist. My lifestyle and peers also contributed to my decision to become a music artist

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent song ‘WUMBO’ ?
HotPink : WUMBO is a term I learned from watching Spongebob. I’m a mom, we love watching cartoons  and for some reason, one day the word WUMBO came to me while recording. It turned out to be one of my favorite songs!

Twist Online : You must be happy with the kind of response it has received so far?
HotPink : YES! I’ve gotten alot of positive feedback from WUMBO, in clubs as well as listening parties, ‘WUMBO’ is always 1 of the top 3 favorites

Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
HotPink : I haven’t had too many performances. I’m not too fond of doing alot of unpaid performances, so I’d say working in the studio is more attractive to me at this time.

Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
HotPink : Good question… I’m an old school slow jams kinda person. I like neo soul, r&b, soft rock, alternative, I listen to Every genre. Not sure if i have a single favorite genre

Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve?
HotPink : I have, and have already achieved them. So im now working to create new goals. I guess that can be creating a complete album/mixtape? which II have yet to do.

Twist Online : Are you working on any new project after ‘WUMBO’?
HotPink : I have. I just completed my next single title “Those Shoes” in which I’ll be shooting a music video for probably in 2018.ore
