A conversation with an electronic music producer Levitate

We are sharing our recently taken interview with an electronic music producer Levitate

Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
Levitate :
Hello, I’m Levitate! I’m originally from Mexico City and I’m an electronic music producer that concentrates on making Trance and Progressive Trance songs.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Levitate :
The song that inspired me to start producing my own music was Paul Van Dyk’s “We Are Alive”. I remember feeling so inspired after listening to it that I picked up a copy of FL Studio and started playing with it. Like they say, the rest is history!

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent project?
Levitate :
My latest song is called “Alma Kinetika” and it’s a progressive trance tune. It was inspired after I visited my parents house this past Summer.

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received ?
Levitate :
It has had great a great response! It has been my most successful release up to date as it has been supported by some dj/producers that have inspired me such as Paul Van Dyk, Giuseppe Ottaviani, and Matt Fax amongst others.

Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Levitate :
Trance music is currently my favorite genre.

Twist Online : What’s the best part of being a music artist?
Levitate :
I think the best part is to be able share some of your experiences, influences, anecdotes, ideas, and feelings through your own music. It’s also very rewarding when you hear someone say that your music has helped them or inspired them in some way. I think that’s the best feeling ever!

Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve?
Levitate :
Yeah, for sure! Next year I want to continue to grow as an artist and try to release music on different labels. I also want it to be my most prolific year as I have several songs and ideas that I want to finish and get out the pipeline!

Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
Levitate :
Yes, I’m working on new music that should be coming out soon. I’m also venturing in writing some lyrics for future productions as I haven’t done so in a while. I also have some surprises for next year so you will have to keep a lookout! []
