A conversation with Artist/Producer Qua.Litti
We are sharing our recent interview with music artist, producer and
CEO of FTY Studios, Qua.Litti.
Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
Qua.Litti : My name is Qua.Litti. I’m an Artist/Producer from the Southside of Chicago, and CEO of FTY Studios.
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Qua.Litti : I originally started making footwork tracks, footwork and juke is a style of music that started in Chicago and when i was young it was a big deal. so, after that i started producing rap music for some local artists and when they heard me freestyling they would always say i should make my own music. so i started rapping around age 14
Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release “Omni”?
Qua.Litti : Omni is a mix of alot of different musical influences with amazing flow, punchlines, substance and a great overall sound. It has something for everybody.
Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Qua.Litti : My supporters love it and its been getting a nice amount of blog support as well. s/o to Stack or Starve and Hood Illustrated for being among those covering the project.
Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Qua.Litti : My favorite music genre is definitely hip hop but i love R&B, Rock, and even some pop music as well.
Twist Online : What’s the best part of being a music artist?
Qua.Litti : For me, the best part of being the kind of artist i am is that i control my entire creative process, making my music more personal and truly making it a representation of me. I Do most of my own production, i mix and master my own music, direct and edit my videos, i do my own grapihc design and everything. It helps being the CEO of the Multi Media company FTY Studios.
Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve?
Qua.Litti : I plan to be going on tour soon and I’m currently working on a deal with NetFlix. I would like to add a few people to my team to take things to the next level.
Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
Qua.Litti : I Have a Comedy series coming real soon called “Lookin Ass Tv” and ill be releasing a remix to YBN Cordae’s “Have Mercy” this month so look out for it. I’ll be dropping a EP 9/9/19 so I’m keeping my foot on the gas for sure.
