A conversation with Bballs from Kalbsait Boys

Bballs is 18 years old rapper from small town sask. He along with his 3 friends are on SoundCloud as the Kalbsait boys with close to 2 million views. We are sharing our recent interview with him.

Twist Online : First of all tell introduce yourself to our readers?
Bballs : My name Bballs. Im 18 years old from Canada. Me and my boys J Breezy, Dolo, and Blasé beats been making music together for around 3 years.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to launch the Kalbsait boys?
Bballs : Dolo was the one who thought of it, one night I was like 15 years old we were in my friends garage and we were drinkin and smoking and we started rapping about some cop that had been harassing us hahaha. Just saying crazy shit like doing blow off strippers yknow crazy stuff that we would never do but that’s kinda when we realized we all got our own kinda flow and sound.

Twist Online : Tell us about the other band members and their role in the band?
Bballs : Bballs Dolo and j breezy are the rappers and Blasé Beats is obviously the producer he’s produced for Kuniva so he know what’s up.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release?
Bballs : Just released this one not to long ago this is all about us living in swift Current sask small town Canada and how we do the same shit rappers do in the states we live similar lifes.

Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Bballs : I don’t think there’s anything better than being up on the stage with all the boys and smoking some weed and turning up with people that like your music.

Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Bballs : For sure may favorite is hip hop but I grew up listening to my dads music which was mostly Canadian rock and roll hahah.

Twist Online : Have you set some target to achieve.
Bballs : We have lots of targets everyone does hitting 1 million views was a huge target we had long ago so now that we got that it’s time to set bigger sight.

Twist Online : Are you currently working on any other project?
Bballs : We are working on many projects actually we just made a song with boss lucci and we have been getting in touch with other rap names but we gonna keep those private for now.
