Twist Online : First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?
Young Cypher Billions : I pretty much got my start in like doing music professionally when Cor Cash featured me on Susie Loves Ice. That was my first time working on a a full length project and before then I would drop like solo stuff like freestyles and remixes here and there.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Young Cypher Billions : I was really inspired by watching the old freestyle Friday’s growing up as a kid the ones with Free and AJ. That’s what pretty much got me started. I remember watching it and saying to my self like shit anyone can do that rhyming words together that’s kindergarten shit and I just kind of went from there. I’m sure my work wasn’t that good back then but I think I’ve made some improvements.

Twist Online : Your debut solo promotional track Up has done exceptionally well. You must be happy with the kind of response you got?
Young Cypher Billions : Yeah definitely it’s always dope for an artist when you can take a part of yourself and give it to the world and they accept it and rock with it. That’s like probably the best feeling you can have as an artist.

I might give a lil edge to performing cause unlike recording it’s a social thing I’m with the people and I’m able to connect with them on a more personal level but I like I said I just enjoy the whole process of it all.
