A Conversation With JFields About His Life & Music
Today on our Hot Seat we have Jfields who has recently released ‘Mastered by my sins’. We will have a conversation with him about his past life, his passion for music and his work. Lets have a chat with him.
Twist Online : Please introduce yourself to the readers and how and when did you first get into music profession?
JFields : My name is Justin Christopher-Kyle Fields, but better known as JFields. I first started getting involved with the music profession in 2009 after I faced some very serious time due to legal matters. Fortunately, God blessed me with a second chance, and I picked up music as my new hobby and love in exchange for the street life.
Twist Online : You had a rather tough childhood, does it has any effect on your music as well?
JFields : Indeed. You can hear the passion and energy in my tracks as I express my thoughts about events that took place, and even send encouragement to others they may be facing similar struggles that I had to battle.
Twist Online : Are you inspired of someone in the music industry?
JFields : I’m a really huge fan of Andre 3000, but much love to Z-RO, UGK, and E-40
Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release “Mastered by My Sin”?
JFields : Mastered by My Sin is a song that inspired me after finding a stronger spiritual connection with the universe. I know that sin is all around us in this world, and unfortunately sin can’t be avoided.I just wrote this track to express to myself and others that sin is going to happen, but don’t just allow yourself to be mastered by the sin. I really expressed my message through my singing vocals and my rap flow that is filled with power, passion, and knowledge.
Twist Online : What’s the inspiration behind this track?
JFields : My connection with God and the universe, and my growth of faith and belief in doing right.
Twist Online : What’s your favorite genre?
JFields : Music, I love any and every genre, but hip-hop and R&B is my comfortable element.
Twist Online : What are your future goals as music artist?
JFields : To use my platform in a positive manner to help others that are less fortunate or lost with following the other messages of the world. Community service is more important than the music business, and I plan to use this platform to venture into other business realms in an effort to consciously participate in the game of capitalism.
Twist Online : Are you working on any other new project? when it will be released?
JFields : My EP Tug of War will be releasing before the end of the year, but in 2017 I have my mixtape Velvet Renegade already in the works, and nearly complete. After that you guys will get a chance to experience my more R&B and soul side, better known as Novi Tide. Be on the lookout for some of those tracks too. Great relationship and lover music.
Twist Online : Are you active on social media? what’s the best way to follow you?
JFields : Very active. You can follow me on Instagram and Twitter @RealJFields. Also visit my website www.SuperSavy405.com . You can also checkout my Youtube series “Voice of the Voiceless” and see how I’m really out here in the trenches trying to shed a positive message and empower the people that are at the lower part of the society chain.
