A conversation with music artist DRAB

We are sharing our recent interview with DRAB, a music artist from Michigan.

Twist Online : First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?
Drab : I started about a year ago under a different name (NJ ManiK). I released very low quality music and didn’t like what I was doing so I redesigned myself and invested and have grown drastically.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Drab : XXXTENTACION, who is a young artists who has blown up on all faces of social media. He brought a completely style to music which I fell in love with. I feel I can release the weirdest most questionable music thanks to him.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release ‘Cloud 248’?
Drab : Well, I’ve always wanted to release an upbeat song with a memorable chorus. And I successfully did that. The song talks about the negative effects on my hometown. All of my friends fell in love with it and there is not a better feeling then that. I’ve started to gain a following from this song with the song at 60k with almost 1k likes.


Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Drab : People loved it. I haven’t gotten any negative feedback from it. Still in shock and awe.

Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Drab : Right now, studios. I really have been dieing to perform on stage. In front of 50 people or 100k people, it’s my dream all around. Contact me for booking info @drabtalentagency@gmail.com

Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Drab : Rap, Trap & Metal

Twist Online : Have you set some target to achieve as a music artist?
Drab : Yes. To build a cult. That’s what I’ve always wanted as an artists.

Twist Online : Are you currently working on any other project?
Drab : Yes. My album which will drop January of 2018. A lot of singles that will be dropped from now until the album. I also have an EP series that is in the making.
