A conversation with music artist & producer Nino Staxx

We are sharing our recent interview with multi-talented Nino Staxx

Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
Nino Staxx : My name is Nino Staxx. I’m an Artist, Producer, and Entrepreneur from Detroit, Michigan. I got a beautiful wife and daughter. And making music is a passion of mine.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Nino Staxx : My brother Trillion gave me Fruity Loops one day in 2005 and I never stopped making music from that very day. It became somethimg I loved to do. It was an outlet I used to express myself. Plus I was always into the arts because my pops Leroy Johnson is a Legendary Artist in Detroit. I had pontential when I started, but I got better over time because I kept working at it. Then I started to let the world hear what I created, and people loved it. Eventually I grew a fan base. That motivated me to continue doing what I’m doing.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release “Can’t Vibe”?
Nino Staxx : This song was inspired by real life events. I produced the beat first, and it went perfect with what was going on at the time so I recorded the song and made sure it was the best quality possible, thanks to my engineer Oscar from Onbeat Studios. I let a select few people hear it first and they couldn’t believe how good of a song it was. Thats when I knew it was a hit. Every family event my cousin Nicki always asking me to perform the song. She was so hype about it, she got me hype. My DJ J. Smooth said “This is the one” and he sent to the song to his network of active DJ’s all around Detroit. Recently “Can’t Vibe” got radio play on a major Detroit radio station 97.9 WJLB. It has been featured on ABC, CBS, NBC, and The CW local News websites around the country. It has been gaining momentum and getting a buzz in Detroit and all over the world.

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Nino Staxx : I’m receiving a lot of love with this song, but you know its always a few haters in the cut. I feel like “Can’t Vibe” is something people can listen and relate to. I speak on things that all people go through in life.

Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Nino Staxx : I like to listen to all music. I feel like there is always room to grow as a Producer and I’m always trying to expand my horizons.

Twist Online : What’s the best part of being a music artist?
Nino Staxx : I love being able to create something out of nothing. Especially something dope, that other people resonate with or vibe to.

Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve?
Nino Staxx : Yes, I have a lot of short term and long term goals I plan on achieving. I choose not to disclose what they are at the time.
