Hunter Pistole

A Conversation with Pop Artist Hunter Pistole

Today on our Hot Seat we have a young and talented pop artist Hunter Pistole. Lets have a chat with him.

Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers?
Hunter Pistole : My name is Hunter Pistole, and I am an 18 year old Pop artist from Springfield, Missouri!

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Hunter Pistole : Guys like Justin (Bieber) and Shawn (Mendes) definitely gave me that certain inspiration it took to really watch my dreams come alive

Twist Online : Tell us about your recently release debut EP “Don’t Runaway“?
Hunter Pistole : Everything came about so fast with that project, I was just trying to keep up with the pace of life. And before you ask, yes it is about a girl, but that’s a long story! *laughs*  Shortly after recording the project, and right before release my phone was ringing every day with new situations and opportunities, I knew we had created something special even before releasing it.

Twist Online : Any particular track of the EP that’s your favorite?
Hunter Pistole : Be There is definitely my favorite song. So much of the music culture is talking about how good you’ll do once someone does you wrong, or how you’re just better or you’ll never forgive them, but this a better vibe. This is saying, “I love you, but even if you choose to go another direction, I’ll still be there for you. If you call I’ll be there.”

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Hunter Pistole : Overall, the response from the project has been very positive. I am still in a very critical season in my career where people decide if they are going to take me seriously or not! We believe that people have now seen what we are able to bring to the table, and that is exciting. I am happy to get back in the lab and bring a new, innovative cut at this new Pop wave. We’re really excited, good things are happening for the whole team.

Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Hunter Pistole :  I really enjoy creating, but it is so much cooler to get on stage and play it for real, alive people. Live performance is cool, no matter what kind of venue you are in. Whether it be for school, on a tour, or even just in a living room for a small group, it’s great. Leading worship has become something that I have fallen in love with as well, something about leading people in song is so cool to me. Being on a stage and speaking music is a blessing.

Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Hunter Pistole : Head bobbing, get you dancing, feel good Pop!! Nothing beats it, don’t @ me

Twist Online : Have you set some target to achieve as a music artist?
Hunter Pistole : I’m not so focused on being the next big thing, or being the best ever. I am more focused on living life as a good man, and using the influence I am given for great things. Other than that, my numbers on social media or in the music industry mean nothing to me.
