Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers?
Justine Carpenter : My name is Justine Carpenter and I am independent singer and songwriter from London. I am 34 years old and singing since I was 6. My voice is light lyric soprano.
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Justine Carpenter : I think that both. Who and what. I realised that I can’t live without music and singing since I turned 6. When I was singing for the first time for my family and they were like “hey she’s good “ I’ve decided that I want to give joy and happiness through my music and voice. Freddie Mercury inspired me as my first biggest idol. Every time when I was watching Queen concerts I was saying to myself “I want to become legend one day “. Now I have many inspirations but Freddie is still number one.
Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release?
Justine Carpenter : My latest release is a song Strength To Carry On. It’s about closing a chapter in your life and start completely new episode. My first singles Not My Property and I Look At The Sky were some kind of stories. Stories about living in fear, shadow. Latest one is a manifesto of finding strength to go on.
