We are sharing our recent interview with Ria Adams.
Twist Online : First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?
Ria Adams : The start of my music career has been about 11 years ago, when I was 14. My grandma passed away, and that’s when I found myself more intrigued about life, more confused, more heartbroken then ever, I found inspiration in loss, and thats when I discovered that the only way I was able to communicate and let go of pain was through lyrics. I was always singing at a young age, 2 or 3, since Lion King, and Disney movies ever entered my life, but it didn’t hit me till that big loss.
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Ria Adams : What inspired me was the freedom of words, freedom of expression, my family was always very musical, and had me listening to different genres constantly, music has always been apart of my upbringing, My inspirations definitely come from them, but also legends like Michael Jackson, Aaliyah, Whitney Houston, Pat Benatar, NSYNC, BSBOYS and so many more.
Twist Online : What kind of working experience you are having with Dope Hitz Entertainment?
Ria Adams : An amazing one thus so far! Finding Marques has been phenomenal, he’s patient, he listens, and he’s done so much for me already, I’m thankful! I couldn’t even tell you whats next with me and Dope Hitz Entertainment, he’s full of surprises!!!
Twist Online : Tell us about your upcoming release “Slam”?
Ria Adams : SLAM is basically about a guy that wanted to have his cake and eat it to, and he wasn’t going to have that with me. Basically a player, like… “Get out of here” I don’t put up with that. He wanted me but wanted other women as well, that isn’t a fair situation for anyone, I guess how annoyed and irritated I got from that situation inspired “Slam”
Twist Online : What kind of response you are expecting from the release?
Ria Adams : Hopefully a positive one! I want it to be something that people will enjoy, people can relate too. It’s also a fun song!!
Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Ria Adams : I love the intimacy of working in a studio, but I REALLY enjoy the interactions of performing on STAGE! Being there live with people who support you, that hits deep!
Twist Online : Have you set some target to achieve as a music artist?
Ria Adams : Yes, I want to be a successful one, and that might not mean being signed to a label or making millions of dollars, I just want to be heard and want to be known, I want to leave a mark on people, on their mind and their hearts,
