A conversation with up and coming music artist The Maz

The Maz is an up and coming musician with a very unique and fresh sound. We recently had a conversation with him.

Twist Online : First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?
The Maz : Growing up I really enjoyed making music. It was one of the first things that I really did naturally without thinking about it.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
The Maz : I think it’s being exposed to great music by my family.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release?
The Maz : I released Oasis, an energetic melodic house track.

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
The Maz : I’ve received an amazing response from everybody. Thousands of plays across different platforms and great feedback from the label.

Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
The Maz : I think that’s a difficult thing to decide. They both serve their purposes and they both have their pros and cons.

Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
The Maz : That another question that I couldn’t answer with a definitive answer since it fluctuates and changes over time. i would say that I love great melodies that transport the listener in an emotional and sonic journey.

Twist Online : Have you set some target to achieve as a music artist?
The Maz : I would say connect with more people and hope to slightly improve my listener’s day through my art.

Twist Online : Are you currently working on any other project?
The Maz : Yes, I have multiple songs that are ready to be released. One thing i would say is that they vary a lot from my past work.
