A Very Interesting Conversation With BMMG

BMMG is a hip hop group out of Lewiston, Maine, USA. Mainly there are two Artists in the group,  Adiktid aka (Adiktid To Lyrikz) and Xzaminer known for their raw story telling lyrics, bass hitting beats and energetic stage performance. They belong to an abandoned mill town in Lewiston. What they are today is their own effort and hard work, achieved all without any help from outside. Mix and master, record, graphic design, and book their own shows. They are a 100% independent group signed to Guttaink entertainment.

We had an opportunity to have a conversation with BMMG group member Adiktid who had a very interesting conversation with us on the behalf of BMMG band.

Twist Online : Why you chose the name BMMG is there any reason or influence behind it?
BMMG : BMMG stands for “Brodie Mob Music Group” the reason we chose that name is because of our fan base known as the “Brodie Mob” we are the voice to our people as well as nothing without them.. so we thought it was a good idea to support them by doing that. “Brodie” meaning “the man” or “life of the party” which sums up are fans to the fullest !

Twist Online : What’s the story behind “Sick Myndz”? your fans will love to know that.
BMMG :  Wow ! haven’t heard that name for years ! Me and Xzaminer formed Sick Myndz back in 2009 when I was a freshman in high school the group started with three then people changed, things got all unorganized and we split up the team.. years later I formed My own label “GuttaINK Entertainment” did sum solo stuff for a couple years then formed back up with Xz to build the now known BMMG ! and here we are, better then ever !!

Twist Online : Do you work according to plans to achieve your goals?
BMMG : Yeah, I’d say so.. we like to make sure we are 100% ready for whatever we are about to do. This is a business. Not a game to us. every and anything to do with our name or label is professional ..or at least as professional as we can make it.

Twist Online : We heard that you are very hard working. Is it true?
BMMG :  I feel like if you put your mind, money, and soul into what your doing.. your working hard weather you notice it or not. but we stay working hard.. no room not to.

Twist Online : What is role of Guttaink Entertainment in the achievements of BMMG?
BMMG : GuttaINK Ent. Is the label we are signed too, we have 4 artists signed to the label with us. Everything we do from rockin’ shows, selling CD’s and Merchandise to just being ourselves reflects on our label. we are brothers and the label is our home.. everything reflects back to home #GuttaINKoverAnything

Twist Online : Any new project you are working on? When it will be released?
BMMG : We have a couple new tracks about to drop on are social media pages. Adiktid: I have a solo Mixtape in the works now called “Cut Me Loose” which has sum known names all on it, theres no set release date but I hope to be dropping it by the end of the summer 2016, but other than that we always have new stuff in the works
