Aaron Johnson talks about his love for music
We are sharing our recent interview with music artist Aaron Johnson.
Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
AJAY : My name is Aaron Johnson but I go by the name of AJAY I’m an upcoming artist from Long beach California and I’m in love with music.
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
AJAY : Well I have many inspiration but the main thing is when I was a kid I saw my older brother listening to some beats on my radio and I saw him writing some lyrics so I grabbed my notebook and a pen and set next to him and started writing lyrics.
Another person who inspired me into music was former rapper Bow Wow because due to the fact that he was a kid at the time and so was I. My attitude was since he was able to make it as a kid then I figured so was I.
Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release?
AJAY : I have recently released my very first album of my career titled (Money Team Strong) I spent close to 4 years putting it together and finally it all came together and i released back in August of this year and I literally sold out of all of my copies.
Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
AJAY : I have received a lot of fan love people have told me that they are proud of me and that they cannot wait to see me make it in the industry my mother said that she is glad to see that I’m doing something positive and doing what i love and chasing a dream.
I have also received responses from haters of course people who have tried to put me down saying things like oh your music is wack your never gonna be anything in life but then again I look at that as free promotion and that pushes me to do more.
Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
AJAY : I’m gonna have to say performing on stage I love when I’m on stage and I see my fans screaming my name and singing my music it makes me feel good and like god is blessing me and I’m doing something right and that making my fans happy and seeing smiles on there face.
But being in the studio does attract me i can’t leave that out.
Twist Online : Tell us about your upcoming projects?
AJAY : My upcoming is great I have a long journey ahead of me and as of right now I’m enjoying every opportunity that comes my way I take it with open arms because as an upcoming artist opportunities are blessing.
Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve?
AJAY : Yes I have my number one goal of course is to get signed to TMTMUSICGROUP which is one things I never stop trying to reach and also to get on that level where i can start selling out big arenas all over the world. Most of all keep on making good music for my fans and never stop until the day I’m laying dead in a casket.
Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
AJAY : Yes I’m currently working on a single titled (OMG-On My Grind) featuring one of my favorite artist from Compton California (Keewi Making Millions). Also I am about to start working on 3 new music video featuring artist ,Fready Paydro, JNiicole, and Monruex_600.
