We are sharing our recent interview with him.

Twist Online : First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?
Jonathan Poole : Well, while I was I college for culinary arts. I took a public speaker course and the instructor also taught theater arts as well. So, to help the students curb their fear of stage fright. He had us preform skits and small plays as well as read lines for ten weeks. I loved it! When I finished the semester I didn’t go back, that year I picked up a guitar, pen and a pad of paper and that’s how it began

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Jonathan Poole : When I started I couldn’t do anything, I couldn’t sing, play a G chord… nothing. A really good friend of mine was an actor and so I go to him with my revelation of being an actor or musician. I had been cooking for the last 7 years, in college for culinary arts. Now out of the blue I wanted to perform. We agreed it would be easier to start in music than acting. He showed me how to play my first G-chord and he really inspired me to go out there and live it. He said, “if this is something you really want to do, then I’ll be behind you 100% of the way.” For me that’s all I needed.

Twist Online : Working as a band and working as solo what kind of difference you felt?
Jonathan Poole : The workload and the pressure change so much. Instead of us sharing the responsible, it’s just me. It can be overwhelming at times.

Twist Online : You recently released your first solo Album “The Next Level.” Tell us more about that ?
Jonathan Poole : “The Next Level.” Is me taking my career up a notch. Back in march we released our first album for the band “No Stopping Us.” It was a great experience we got to record in a studio. I loved it, and I had a bunch of songs written that wouldn’t sound good for the band’s genre and tone. At the time I had just started singing live so I wasn’t comfortable with it yet. I really want to take my abilities to the next level. I started training more and really taking care of my voice box. I always loved pop more than punk. My songs fit in pop better so around July I started recording for the album.

Twist Online : Any particular track of the album, that’s your favorite?
Jonathan Poole : I like them all but if I had to guess my favorite would have to be “Break All the Rules Again.” I Just love everything about the song and he melody is amazing.

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Jonathan Poole : Actually, it has been received well among the crowd. For the most part everybody likes it. I’m sure there are some that don’t and I’m totally cool with that.

Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Jonathan Poole : I love every aspect of this job each part holds its own story and you can’t have one without the other.

Twist Online : Do you need some specific kind of environment for writing songs?
Jonathan Poole : I write anywhere and everywhere. I might be messing with stems and partials to try to get the creativity flowing. Usually something good will hit me than. Or it could be out of nowhere. My big thing is writing it down. I have to get it on something or I will forget it. I have forgotten some gnarly lyrics because I couldn’t write them down fast enough.

Twist Online : Have you set some target to achieve as a music artist?
Jonathan Poole : As far as I can go, as high as I can climb. If I can achieve Justin Bieber status, so be it. If I can’t than, so be it. Just being able to perform and record is what I love most about it. Everyone wants to be heard. Some people just want the whole world to hear it.

Twist Online : Are you currently working on any other project?
Jonathan Poole : Umm yes. I’ve been working with indie label Amada Records for a few months now. It’s been great! Here recently Complete-Opposite Records reached out to me. So, in January I’ll be working with them too for the release of my new EP coming in April or May. It’s going to be great guy’s you don’t want to miss it

Twist Online : What’s the best way to stay updated about you and your music?
