An interview with music artist Triemed

We are sharing our recent interview with Romario Thomas, who goes by the artist name ‘Triemed’.

Twist Online : First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?
Triemed : I got started after writing and few songs and putting some demos made at home on social media. Eventually I decided to take it to the studio and I linked up with Tara, owner of Harry J Studio

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Triemed :I’ve always had a passion for music every since i was a child. No one specific thing or person inspired it but i do draw inspiration for a song etc day to day either by random things going on or from a song from a favorite artiste

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release “System”?
Triemed : System was inspired by a news report i heard whilst driving to work. I was filled with reports on corruption and all the negativity going on in Jamaica. The song speaks on these issues on a local and international stage..matters of corruption,abuse, racism, class-ism are all brought to the forefront.

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Triemed : Well, the response has generally been good, everyone is impressed with and likes the lyrical content.

Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Triemed :Studio really attracts me

Twist Online : What’s the biggest achievement in your career so far?
Triemed : AT this point, so early in the journey i’d say the biggest achievement so far is starting.

Twist Online : Have you set some target to achieve as a music artist?
Triemed :Yes, I definitely want to develop my talent as a guitarist and to complete my first EP by end of 2019

Twist Online : Are you currently working on any other project?
Triemed : Yes, have a few singles that my managing and I are currently working on.
