Twist Online : First of all tell us about start of your professional career?
Efreezee : I started making beats when I got my first Keyboard when I was 17.  I could only record 2 tracks at a time and I would have played the percussion on 1 track and my melodies on the other.  It was never really a great way to record but at the time I thought It was so tight. Me and my boys would record our songs on this little karaoke machine that I had that would only record on tapes.

Twist Online : Are you inspired by someone in the music industry?
Efreezee : My inspirations are Michael Jackson, Tupac, Mariah Carey, Jagged Edge, Dru Hill, Twista, and more.

Twist Online : What was the influence behind launching your site MusicBeats?
Efreezee : I started out my online music career as a producer by creating a SoundClick page. SoundClick is a very well-known artist and producer community online that helps multiple genres of artists and producers get heard around the world. SoundClick was the stepping stone that really helped me get exposure to my beats in the beginning and start to learn about website marketing. It wasn’t long before I created MusicBeats.net

Efreezee : I only started receiving TV placements in 2016. Since then I have had numerous placements on National Cable TV Networks such as The National Geographic Channel, Esquire Network, TLC, WB, MTV, VH1 and more.

Twist Online : What has been your biggest success so far?
Efreezee : Definitely the TV placements to say for 1, but I would have to say my biggest success in the music industry so far has been receiving visitors (artists, producers, music publishers) to my website from 227 countries. I am currently receiving over 100,000 clicks per month to my website and is growing every month. I learned how to market my website using SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

Twist Online : What’s the best part of being a music producer/composer?
Efreezee : The best part of being a music producer and composer is that you get the chance to work on all forms of music, not just one style or genre. It makes you a more versatile producer, capable of working on any type of project for artists, TV and film.

Twist Online : What attracts your more, producing at home or working in studios?
Efreezee : I actually prefer to produce my instrumentals from home. Actually, most of my beats have been made while I was lying down in bed. I have lapdesk speakers that hook up to my laptop and I can create the entire beat before mixing it in the studio monitor speakers.

Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Efreezee : My favorite music genre would have to be hip hop r&b. I love when you can mix singing with rapping on a nice slower tempo instrumental. It creates a more dynamic sound and is very popular with listeners.

Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
Efreezee : I am currently working on finding positive rap artists to work with. I plan creating beats for these artists, helping them promote their songs, and giving them tips on how to make a bigger impact in the music industry. I am currently working with singers and mc’s.
