Carolee Rainey talks about her new single “Deeper Than The Ocean”
Today in our interview section we have Carolee Rainey with us who has recently released a track titled Deeper Than The Ocean”.
Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
Carolee Rainey : Hello angels. Thrilled to be able to chat with you. I am Carolee Rainey and I’m so looking forward to sharing my music with you. Here’s my story. Found a lot of my music deep below the surface inside my own little world. Do you ever feel like lifting the covers of your own life and wonder at the colors that stare back at you? I’ll be thinking of you in my melodies and lyrics.
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Carolee Rainey : I’ve always dealt with my emotional palette through poetry, painting and songwriting ever since I was a kid. It’s always been my safe place, my imagination. When I’ve needed to shut all else out, this is the inner landscape I run to.
Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release “Deeper Than The Ocean”?
Carolee Rainey : I’m genuinely thrilled that David Veslocki suggested to release this song as it’s written about one of my favorite themes which is to ‘cherish love as it’s so frail.’ I think we are all here on earth to become better students of ‘unconditional love.’
Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Carolee Rainey : My answer to this question is that the response makes me feel like I’m spinning around in the sun. Seems like there’s a whole audience out there brave enough and ready to delve deeper into the exploration of feelings. If I can always continue to attract this kind of audience I will be beyond grateful because I will know that we are all in this journey together.
Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Carolee Rainey : I love it all. Performances on stage might be the winner here because its truly an honor if you can soul connect with an audience, whereas its more speculative in the studio.
Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Carolee Rainey : Great question but forgive me when I tell you that its all mood dependent. There certainly is a vast repertoire.
Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve?
Carolee Rainey : My most important goal now is to touch a global audience with emotional relatable songs. To write and perform music with a universal passionate connection.
Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
Carolee Rainey : Thank you for asking this question. I’m ecstatic about 8 new songs I wrote over the last year that I will begin recording in a couple of weeks. In addition, there is also a new release and video coming out in November I wrote called ‘YOU MATTER’ for anyone who has struggled to feel heard.
