Conversation with a Hip-Hop Recording Artist Yung Nascent
Today on our Hot Seat we have a talented Hip-Hop recording artist Yug Nascent with us. Lets have a chat with him.
Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
Yung Nascent : What up, my names Yung Nascent. I’m a Hip-Hop recording artist signed under Stay Easy Music based out of La Crescenta, California.
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Yung Nascent : That’s a tough one. When I was younger I listened to a lot of Tupac, so he was definitely a big influence on me. But honestly I wasn’t really interested in the industry part of it, I just enjoyed the artistic side. Another big influence is Yelawolf. He’s a family friend, so I’ve been listening to his music since I was young. I also got to see him go from underground to being signed by Eminem which was nuts and definitely kept me motivated.
Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release ‘Already There’ ?
Yung Nascent : ‘Already There’ is without a doubt my best composition of music to date. I tried to cover multiple styles of music from rap to pop. I also wanted to talk about day to day stuff people my age can relate to, cause that’s super important for music. People either want to hear music that makes them feel connected or gets them hyphy. I think I did a pretty solid job at covering all of those aspects.

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Yung Nascent : The response I got was pretty substantial compared to the attention I received before the album. It was the first time I actually got fans messaging me telling me how much they fuck with my music. It was definitely dope that I got the recognition I deserve.
Twist Online: What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Yung Nascent : Definitely performing. I love getting people hyped and seeing them jam out to music that i created. I’m still getting used to it, but it’s been hella fun so far. The studio’s also pretty fun though. I just kick it with some friends, get drunk, and make tunes.
Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Yung Nascent : I don’t really have a favorite to be honest. I fuck with all types of music. Lately I’ve been listening to a lot of Rock and Pop. I’ve had The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys, and BlackBear on repeat.
Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve?
Yung Nascent : My most recent goal is to open up for Yelawolf which I’m working on at the moment. I’m also trying to reach 100K on one of Music Videos. But in the long run my main goal is to just keep moving forward. I want to keep growing as an artist and get better with every song I create
Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
Yung Nascent : Right now I’ve just been working on a few songs. I’m not sure what i’m going to do with them yet. I either want to release a couple singles or another album. But I’m still promoting ‘Already There’ so I won’t be releasing anything for a good minute. TBO!
