Conversation with an up and coming artist Bossup Baby

Bossup baby is a young 20 year old artist from Hempstead Long Island, New York. Raised in the hood with his single mother found a passion for music and targets those who go through a struggle everyday and can relate whether it be poverty or female related or just issues over all. Bossup baby graduated from Hempstead high school in 2015 started college the following year then dropped out in regards to money issues. Now he is on the verge of just trying to find his place in the music industry being that he feels this is where he belongs.

We are sharing our conversation with him.

Twist Online : First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?
Bossup Baby : I started my music career from watching people like me struggle everyday. I’ve learnt that music is what makes people react a certain way and ever since then I wanted to be apart of that experience.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Bossup Baby : I was always inspired to get involved in the music industry however recently listening to meek mill wins and loses has definitely boosted my confidence and work

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release?
Bossup Baby : My most recent release is my EP the songs I cry too which is about me remixing songs that I gave serious thought to and could actually feel the emotion in.

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Bossup Baby : I’ve been receiving a lot of positive feedback about it and some negative. Really only about the quality however we are working on that part on the next projects in the future.

Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Bossup Baby : Working in the studio because I just feel free when I’m in the booth as if it’s nothing that can faze or bother me

Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Bossup Baby : Hip hop by far

Twist Online : Have you set some target to achieve as a music artist?
Bossup Baby : Yes, I want a Grammy. I want a Grammy bad because where I’m from the don’t deem us able to get one.

Twist Online : Are you currently working on any other project?
Bossup Baby : Yes right now I am actually working on my mixtape called Section 8. I’ve said in the past I would skip the mixtape faze but I feel it’s a necessity.

Twist Online : Are you active on social media? What’s the best way to follow you online?
Bossup Baby : Yes, you can find me on all social media’s as Bossup Baby except Snapchat. On there it’s Gmeshbaby and Facebook it’s Willie’uhm. However I’m waiting on them to approve the name change for Facebook so it’ll soon be Bossup baby as well.
