Conversation with an upcoming rapper Savagespark

We recently interviewed Aweys known by the stage name Savagespark. He is an upcoming rapper from London. He has been making music for a year now.


Twist Online : First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?
Savagespark : I was just an ordinary boy who loved watching cartoon then I came across Lil Wayne songs and I start listening to it every single day. I start shouting Lil Wayne lyrics in my room, the shower and in my school. I then thought about writing my own song then I did it once then I failed it but someone told me to chase my dreams which I did. Thanks to Monica and Lil Sage for being here for me. Also thanks to 20o2Records for helping me.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Savagespark : Lil Wayne inspired me to get into the music industry

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release?
Savagespark : I made a song called be us with my best friend Lil Sage. I cant believe that the song went on the top 50 chart.

Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Savagespark : Working in the studio attracts me the most because I still get nervous performing on the stage.

Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Savagespark : It got to be hiphop and Pop because of the flows and the lyric actually have a meaning

Twist Online : Have you set some target to achieve as a music artist?
Savagespark : Yes, My target is to not worry about what anyone says about me and focus on music even if I don’t become like drake. I will grind hard to be someone different and I will make my parents proud.

Twist Online : Are you currently working on any other project?
Savagespark : Yes I am working on a new Project that’s called X and the only thing that I will say is that it will be dope.
