Conversation with hip hop artist Young Cobain
Today on our Hot Seat we have Young Cobain with us. Let’s have a chat with him.
Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
Young Cobain : Yo! My name is Young Cobain. I am a hip-hop/pop artist from Upstate New York.
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Young Cobain : Ever since I was a little kid I wanted to be in a band, so I suppose it was just the music itself that inspired me to want to do something with it.
Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release ?
Young Cobain : I recently put out a track called “Leave My Side” back in early June. The response has been amazing, I’m seeing support from all over the world which is really cool and I hope they all enjoy my new track out August 13th.
Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Young Cobain : I’ve definitely noticed an influx of genuine fans and people flocking to my music since this release. My release plan was extremely basic and absolutely exceeded everything I expected from it.
Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Young Cobain : Deciding on one music genre is extremely tough. I have always been a metal head, but my ever-growing love for pop and hip-hop cannot be matched. Really a close call!
Twist Online : What’s the best part of being a music artist?
Young Cobain : I believe that the best part of being a music artist is the fact that I can express my feelings and emotions on a larger scale. Knowing that I have the same problems that others have and we can all relate and come together in some way, it’s really incredible. I wouldn’t want anything else out of life.
Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve?
Young Cobain : I feel like as an artist, or even in general, you always need to give yourself goals to achieve. It gives you greater purpose and will always push you to a better life.
Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
Young Cobain : I actually super low-key have been working on an album for the past year or so. Being an artist that grows so much musically, in what seems like days, is extremely hard to keep up with. I’m always writing and throwing new ideas into the mix. There will be an album soon, but singles for now while I wrap that up with my team.
