Conversation with multi-talented DJ Cory P

Today in our interview section we have a talented DJ from NYC, DJ Cory P. Let’s have a chat with him.

Twist Online : First of all introduce yourself to our readers?

DJ Cory P : Hey! My name is Cory Padarathsingh, my stage name is “DJ Cory P”. Iʼm 20 years old from NYC and Iʼve been inspired to make music my whole life. I actually wanted to become professional drummer but then I started to gravitate to deejaying.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?

DJ Cory P : In NYC , there was teen company called NOID events and they were known for throwing the biggest teen events. Seeing how one person could control room had really inspired me to want to do it. Also I seen how much respect they got from their fans and all the promoters that it drove me to want to pursue it as career.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent projects?

DJ Cory P : Recently working on some tracks with Bailo Beats, Club Banditz , Zaxx. Just produced one song for Sean Kingston that will be on his next mixtape. Also Iʼm working on documentary to help the homeless people in New York City. I’m currently filming it and I plan to release it on YouTube next year.

Twist Online : You must have performed at number of venues?

DJ Cory P : Iʼve performed at lot of the big clubs in the city such as Hudson Terrace, Stage 48, Skyroom, katra, Haus, Cielo & many more!

Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?

DJ Cory P :Performing on stage attracts me more definitely. In the studio, itʼs all about the vibe and using music as a way to express myself. Performing on stage allows me to connect with the fans and I love seeing how people react to the music.Thereʼs no better feeling than hearing people chant your name while you are performing.

Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?

DJ Cory P : My favorite music genre is house music.It has fast bpm and the bass is much louder than most genres.

Twist Online : Have you set some target to achieve as .music artist?

DJ Cory P : I would like to work with .lot more known artists in the industry.My main goal is to combine .rap artist and have them rap on .house music beat. I think someone like Cardi B could make an insane house music song.

Twist Online : Are you currently working on any other project?

DJ Cory P : Besides music Iʼm working on teaching many people more about trading crypto currencies such as bitcoin , ripple, etc.I try to teach people that the money they spend on materialistic things can be used towards other things that can build you .much greater wealth.
