Conversation with music artist CAS
Today on our Hot Seat we have Luis Castillo A.K.A. CAS with us. Let’s have a chat with him.
Twist Online : First of all tell us about the start of your music career.
CAS : My music career really just started, I launched a project single that has more than 6k on sound cloud being the first thing a recorded and put lyrics.
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
CAS : My grandfather is a singer and since I have memory a always had headphones on even when I was in school, The feeling that music gives me is what inspired to make it, so I can give the same or better feeling to others.
Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release “Stay Home”?
CAS : Stay Home was a project that I did in my bedroom with my phone, honestly I was scrolling to beats and I just tried the best that suited me in that time, I did the recording in 1 day, and I got very good feedback from people that I know and from people I don’t even know their name.
Twist Online : You must be very happy with the kind of response it has received so far?
CAS : I mean I was not expecting that type of interaction, not that I don’t appreciate of course I feel very blessed for the feedback that I’ve been given, so yeah I can say that I’m very happy with it.
Twist Online : What attracts you more, Working in studios or performing on stage?
CAS : I would say both even that I haven’t been in either one them, it’s just weird I was going to go to a professional studio by March but with all the COVID-19 I can’t get out of my house , that is why I came up with the single stay home and all the idea (that I made it with tools you only can find in home)
Twist Online : What’s the best part of being a music artist?
CAS : I think the feeling you get when you know you can deliver a message that many people can hear you just by making the decision on one button, I will say the satisfaction of giving back to the community in your own way.
Twist Online : Have you set any goals to achieve?
CAS : Yes, one of my most important goals right now is to get signed, to get my next song to more streams that Stay Home, and to keep engaging with the people more.
Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
CAS : Actually I’m working in some new stuff, that will have a studio quality sound I can tell you that.
