Dan Tha Jeweler Talks About His Upcoming Album Fijis & Forties

Few months back we shared our conversation with Dan Tha Jeweler when he released his first Album. Now he is about to release his next Album ‘Fijis & Forties’. So we had a conversation with him about his upcoming album and other things his fans would like to know.

Twist Online : Hi, its nice to have you once again for interview.
Dan Tha Jeweler : Thanks for having me back, I really appreciate it.

Twist Online : How was the response to your first album Blessed?
Dan Tha Jeweler : It went great! A lot of people loved it, or at least that’s what they told me.

Twist Online : It seems name Dan Tha Jeweler suited you?
Dan Tha Jeweler : Yeah, I feel like the name is ridiculous enough in which it is fitting.

Twist Online : Tell us about your upcoming album ‘Fijis & Forties’?
Dan Tha Jeweler : It’s more of a concept album, compared to ‘Blessed.’ It deals with going through some break ups, struggling with depression, and trying to find a coping mechanism for it. I touch heavily on how materialism is encouraged on ways to find happiness, and that is the farthest from the truth. The whole concept behind the title ‘Fijis & Forties,’ is the duality of life, fijis being pure wholesome water that is healthy and beneficial to you, and forties, being a method of coping, but it harms you in the process.

Twist Online : What kind of response you are expecting from the release?
Dan Tha Jeweler : I think the response will be even bigger than last time, I hope at least. I spent more time on production and writing my songs, and I started working with Nor Cal Recording, who mixed and mastered the album for me and it sounds absolutely amazing. The features I have on this album performed amazingly and I am super lucky to have worked with them.

Twist Online : What attracts you more performing on stage or working in studios?
Dan Tha Jeweler : I know most people prefer the stage, but I prefer the studio. I love creating, finding new sounds, finding new ways to convey emotions and creating art.

Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve as a music artist?
Dan Tha Jeweler : Honestly my only goals for music is to create something honest to portray my feelings at the time. If people appreciate it, that’s great, if not, I’ll still be ok.

Twist Online : By the way how is your clothing range going?
Dan Tha Jeweler : I only design customized clothes now instead of a full blown line. I’ve been busy designing logos, rebranding, and creating social media plans for other artists.
