FANS OF JIMMY CENTURY impresses with latest album”eSensuals”

FANS OF JIMMY CENTURY (FOJC) has recently released an album titled “eSensuals”. Originally from Oakland CA, Las Vegas-based Fans of Jimmy Century is an original Indiewave, modwave, neo noir duo with trip hop influences. They have been releasing some extra ordinary music in recent past.

This recent album “eSensuals” is a 12-song album that features previously released singles “All My Friends Are Ice Queens,” “Best of My Generation (Johnny Rotten),” and “Tigra Girl”. It came out on 26th and luckily we got opportunity of listening to this album.

Album is a hard work and combined effort of vocalist/songwriter/voice actor Alicia Perrone and bassist/songwriter/producer/video director Victor James.

Although all the tracks are superb but the track “The Last Summer of Mad Whips ” really impressed us. Tone, lyrics, vocals everything is nice. The song starts with a melodious and engaging tone. You will feel compelled to listen to the track. The singer has a dynamic and inspiring voice and it has a strong vocal projection. You can’t ask for more, everything perfectly done. “Tigra Girl” is the other track that made us listen to it more than once. Nicely done, exceptional composition, great work over all.

Same is the case with other tracks of the album. Tracks are simply done and not overly complex. The chorus is impressive, the pitch range varies, making it rich and engaging. The album definitely is professional and creative. We find it extremely good and this band surely has talent and the music, lyrics and production everything has been done exceptionally well. Overall its a fun listening to the music and I am sure you would put it to repeat mode. You can download the album here
