Haitian artist FrancMill talks about his latest song EAZY

We are sharing our recent interview with Haitian artist FrancMill.

Twist Online : First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?

FrancMill : My name is Francois Milbin (widely known as FrancMill). I am a multi-passionate Hip Hop Artist, Singer Songwriter, and Pianist whose unwavering dedication, soulful songs, and catchy beats have earned me the reputation as a sought-after visionary in the music industry. Throughout my creative career, I have shared the stage with talented artists like Jadakiss, Lloyd Banks, Classified, Swollen Members, as well as hosted, facilitated, and performed at a multitude of yacht cruises, concerts, album release events and artist showcases.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?

FrancMill : Born and raised in Haiti and based in Toronto, I fell in love with the art of music at the age of 13, deeply influenced by rap legends like Wyclef Jean, Eminem and Jay-Z. However, once I arrived in Canada at the age of 12, I faced a language barrier, but ultimately my passion broke through it. Just a few years later, I participated in my first ever rap cypher. Before I knew it, my audience grew and songwriting & performing became my full-time gig.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release “EAZY”?

FrancMill : I am a Haitian artist. So I premiered new song “EAZY” in response to H&M controversy and President Donald Trump $h*thole statement regarding my home country Haiti. Easy sounds like new age hip hop with smooth and soulful feel to it. My new single – Eazy is available on all streaming services. #takeiteazytrump #takeiteazyhm

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
FrancMill : The song is getting a lot of positive feedback, It is said to be one of the hottest songs made in 2018 yet . I can expect quite a bit of success with this new single

Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
FrancMill : Performing on stage is definitely number one. It’s one thing to make a good song, but it is an entirely different thing to perform it for an audience.

Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
FrancMill : I enjoy all genres of music. It is more of a universal thing. If it is a good song I will listen to it and enjoy it.

Twist Online : Have you set some target to achieve as a music artist?
FrancMill : I want to make music and perform for the rest of my life. I want to use my music to inspire and empower others. that is my goal.

Twist Online : Are you currently working on any other project?
FrancMill : I am working on an EP called Life Of An Artist , I am hoping to be able to Tour my EP in summer 2018
