Interview with a multi-talented music artist Sad But Sober

Today on our Hot Seat we have a multi-talented music artist Sad But Sober with us. Let’s have a chat with him.

Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
Sad But Sober : Hey guys, I am a musician by the name of Sad But Sober and I specialize in making music in the genre of Misery Pop! My sound consists of many different elements from a ton of different genres, so I can’t really label myself as an artist in a specific genre.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Sad But Sober : I have many different inspirations that helped me build up the courage to start making music, a few quick names would be Lil Peep, Lana Del Rey, The Weeknd, and Train.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release ?
Sad But Sober : My recent release, which is my current EP “Neon Lights After Midnight” is my most recent release, and will be in digital stores and on Spotify no later than the end of next week. I encourage everyone to give it a listen at least once.

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Sad But Sober : I’ve received a great response from the songs that made it to the project, everyone loves the quality and the honesty portrayed in it. Great body of work to listen to whether happy or sad.

Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Sad But Sober : My favorite music genre would be Hip-Hop/Rap, but i love and listen to all genres of music. I feel as though that my music has sounds from numerous genres all combined into one at times.

Twist Online : What’s the best part of being a music artist?
Sad But Sober : Being able to be yourself, and tell your story with no holds barred. I feel as though it can be so easy to fall into the loophole of wanting to sound like what’s popular at the time, so definitely having the right to be unique while also reaching others who feel the same as you.

Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve?
Sad But Sober : Currently, my biggest goal is just to have music touch anyone going through a rough patch in their life, or anyone enjoys the kind of music that i make (slow, sad). If i can help at least one life, then that’d be more than enough for me.

Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
Sad But Sober : I make at least one new song a day, so i do have tracks that i could turn into a project over time but for now i just want to continue to make good quality music one by one. Very soon a great project and body of work will be released though! My mindset for the present is just to give listeners a good idea of who i am as a person, and an artist as well.
