Interview with a Talented DJ, Producer Luca
Today on our Hot Seat we have a talented DJ and producer Luca. Lets have a chat with him.
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Luca : As opposed to what you can think of at the beginning of my adventure in music I wasn’t inspired from djs and producers from my time mainly because at that time my favorite genre was rock music in all it shades, so I started to get interested in those rock band from the past that in the 70s and 80s started mixing together rock music and electronic sounds as the french group Rockets and the Germans Kraftwerk; that period was a sort of door that allowed me to discover the world of electronic music in general.
By the way The very first inspiration when I decided to make electronic music came from the Swedish producer Basshunter and for this reason my first songs were a mix between electro house that in those years were very popular in my country also thanks to the tectonic movement, and euro trance.
Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release “Golden beach”?
Luca : My new track Golden beach that you can find on youtube and soundcloud was the first original track that I published and it’s part of a group of more or less 15 tracks that I produced in the last two years.
In this two years experimentation with music I dedicated myself to create a true modern sound that will contain in itself different sounds coming from many genres and music eras.
So i can say that Golden beach is 80% tropical house and deep house a 15% of EDM AND A 5% of vintage touch.
Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Luca : Considering that I didn’t published song for almost 2 years I’ve ha d a good response in term of audience. I’ve received more than 20 k views on youtube in the first month and 5k plays on soundcloud for my standards I consider this a good result and a good point to start.
Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Luca : Probably many people heard about the term bookworm but sure nobody heard about a “studioworm” that’s the term I use to define my way of working. I’m a perfectionist and I love to stay many time on my computer trying to produce my tracks in the best way possible.
Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Luca : I love all music in general and during my life I’ve had many favorite music genres from rock music to EDM, today the music genre that interest me the most is deep house and tropical house especially the music produced from European producers as Robin Schulz, Gamper & Dadoni and Henri PFR.
Twist Online : Have you set some target to achieve as a music artist?
Luca : To be honest I have to say no I just hope to produce a song that will remain in peoples memory.
I’ve always desired that my music became famous instead of me and that will be my music to talk for me.
Twist Online : Are you currently working on any other project?
Luca : Yes I’m always at work ; at the moment I’m working on remix of a very famous song of the past that will come out on this December in the Christmas period but I can not reveal which one it is.
So, stay tuned on my social to hear my upcoming tracks.
