Interview with a talented rapper R.T

Twist Online : First of all tell us about the start of your music career.
R.T : It all started when I was told to write down my thoughts on paper as a way of getting things off my chest. Since I was a huge fan of rap music and I was good with my words I then turned thoughts into lyrics. I heard about Kane FM and after years of songwriting I finally had the chance to bring my songs to life.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
R.T : I was inspired by Eminem.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release ?
R.T : My recent release was a song called “Shots Fired” which is a response track and probably my most aggressive yet.

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
R.T : Some negative, some positive. It’s not about the responses for me, I just had to get it out there as it was overdue.

Twist Online : What attracts you more, Working in studios or performing on stage?
R.T : I’ve never performed on stage so I’d have to say working in studios.

Twist Online : You have been working with Guildford’s Kane FM since 2015, tell us about your experience?
R.T : Kane FM has been good to me. I’ve learnt a lot since working with them. If it wasn’t for Kane I wouldn’t be where I am now.

Twist Online : Have you set any goals to achieve?
R.T : Not really. I’ve always said I make music for myself and not for the money or the plays.

Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
R.T : I have one more track ready to go but after that it’s anyone’s guess as to where I’m going with this.
