Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers?
Sumedh :
Hey what’s up guys, It’s Sumedh (or Sume), or Skrizzy (Skriptz) !! SKRRRT!!

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry in such young age?
Sumedh :
I think it’s due to my resilience. I never gave up. Rap is always made me feel the most free. My grandfather was a musician. I retrained my whole brain to make rhythms my norm. It was hard work and I never stopped. I have to thank Hunior the Producer as well for pushing me to mix and master my music. That really improved my overall quality.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release Abundance?
Sumedh : It was all of a sudden. I knew it had the quality that it did. I believed in it fully going in, I think that’s what a lot of my music tries to and has been trying to do for so long. It’s about a mindset more than anything else. I’m sure a lot of people will tell you what the term means, what I ask more of is, what does it mean to someone subjectively? The more I told myself I had this mindset, the more results I accumulated. And I’m not saying that’s what it’s about. It’s more about a spiritual essence.

Twist Online : What kind of response your music has received from the release?
Sumedh : I’ve heard great reviews from people. Some mixed reviews. Some people wanted to see my nature side come out to really evoke abundance. However, I think it was my own art and ideas that made this video what it is. I had a vision for it and I stood by it. People have said this is the best timing for this as my music evokes a summer quality. I welcome all interpretations.

Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Sumedh : I love both equally, I think they are both challenging and both require different mentalities. I love recording music by myself and going into my individual flow state.

Twist Online : You are also into coaching. Tell us more about that?
Sumedh : Yup, that’s why I’m in London, I was studying a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology, now I’m writing my thesis. I am getting quite a rising practice already, it’s quite fulfilling to hold space for someone to explore their strengths. I love working with creativity and It’s definitely something I find every exciting. I really put my all in to help every coaches through their transformation.

Twist Online : Have you set some target to achieve?
Sumedh : No targets, just forward motion. It’s an upwards spiral. I want to keep sharing my music so that I can grow my audience base. I love having big ridiculous dreams and believe that they will come true eventually. I vouch for self-education. I have deep faith in my abilities. I know I wish to create a positive resonance. I continue to share and grow.

Twist Online : Are you currently working on any new projects?
Sumedh : Mostly focusing on this one project called Bollyhood, I don’t want to keep my fans bored though, so I’m always trying to release new music on my soundcloud! Keep your third eye’s on lock!!
