Interview with a talented singer and songwriter Amia Franz
We recently interviewed Amia Franz, an American Born very talented singer and songwriter. She has recently singed with Diamond Life Records and she is working on 14 songs project with them.
Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers?
Amia Franz : My name is Amia Franz. I am a singer, write my original songs, produce the music demos for reproduction of each of my songs and I write and play my guitar solos in the Alternative Pop Soul, Neo Soul, R&B and soft rock music genres. I am a signed music artist under Diamond Life Records, owned by founder drummer of the band Sade.
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into this music?
Amia Franz : The music sound and lyrics I write for songs are inspired primarily by artists Sade, Simply Red, Daley. I am inspired by Paul Hardcastle and guitarists such as Eric Clapton, BB King and Johnny Lange regarding my solo guitar compositions.
Twist Online : You have recently signed with Diamond Life Records. How is your experience with them so far?
Amia Franz : I love working with Paul Cooke and the music production team! The primary reason being, the freedom to express myself musically and the balance of control that I am given to present creative ideas and bring people on to the DLR team. The executive producer on my projects is Paul Cooke. He is very supportive of me, my music and understands my music style preferences.
Twist Online : Tell us about your recent work?
Amia Franz : When I signed with Diamond Life records, the decision was made to first release 3 songs I wrote the lyrics and had my music for these songs produced in 2011. The 3 songs that have been released are Deep Love, Ecstasy and Wait Mariah.
Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Amia Franz : Alternative Pop Soul, Neo Soul, R&B and soft rock
Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve as a music artist?
Amia Franz : My goals are to commercialize my music career under Diamond Life Records as I record new material and perform it with a live band. I am working with a great publicist Curtis Bizelli Dreams Publicity Marketing & PR Agency and we have a whole promotion, marketing and activities goals to implement in 2017 and beyond!
Twist Online : What do you enjoy more, working in studios or performing on stage?
Amia Franz : Great Twist Online! I love both. Everything having to do with music related creation and activities I feel I am in my element!
Twist Online : Are you working on any other project?
Amia Franz : In 2017, I will bw recording all new songs. One of the songs is called Extraordinary Love that I created the music demo for, wrote the lyrics, will record over the DLR music team production of my demo and then DLR will release along with 7 other original songs.
