
Interview with a twin sisters duo EJIMA
Today on our Hot Seat we have a vocal duo EJIMA, comprised of identical twin sisters. Let’s have a chat with them.
Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
EJIMA : We are the duo EJIMA. EJIMA means twin in the Nigerian, Igbo language.
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
EJIMA : Our Mother inspired us to get into the music industry, by always exposing us to so many different styles of music from many eras. We grew up watching music documentaries on Michael Jackson and Prince. We loved their journey, and have been pursuing the business ever since.
Twist Online : Tell us about your recent project ?
EJIMA : Our recent project is our new single ‘Bail It’. ‘Bail It’, is Afrobeats mixed with R&B and some Hip-Hop. We released the music video and it already has over 20,000 Facebook Views. That’s super exciting!

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
EJIMA : Everyone is excited and its picking up on radio. The song is a metaphor, so we have been enjoying everyone’s idea of what the song means to them. That’s important to us as songwriters. It makes us feel very good.
Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
EJIMA : We’d say, we love them all. We love being creative.
Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve?
EJIMA : Yes, we have many goals. We would like to have three certified albums, International tours, and more acting.
Twist Online : Tell us about your activities other then music?
EJIMA : We love to give back to our community. We recently started a Africa Day Program for the youth and Scholarship for high school graduates. We have pretty big hearts! Ejima loves the kids!
Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
EJIMA : Yes, we are always working on new projects whether it be songwriting, coming up with ideas for looks or creating melodies. Stay glued like a lacewig!
