Interview with a very talented rapper Kidq
We are sharing our recent interview with a very talented rap artist kidq who goes by the rap name ‘Kidq The Prophet’.
Twist Online : Please introduce yourself to our readers.
Kidq : What up everyone I’m kidq I’m from Canton Massachusetts a suburb outside of Boston
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Kidq : I started playing the piano when I was young. I took lessons and then I decided to pick up drumming and I did that for a while. I was definitely inspired by Mac Miller to start rapping. I met him at a meet and greet in Boston and that was cool. I also am inspired by Tyler the Creator I think he’s cool
Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release ‘?
Kidq : I just dropped a mixtape called Oreo we have some dope tracks on there me and riingz been working on that for a while he did most the beats for me which was cool and shout out to slim swavey and maxgrpl for there help with the whole Oreo album
Twist Online : What do you like more performing on stage or working in studios?
Kidq : I like it both man my first show was a success and I got another one booked at hard Rock Cafe in Boston so I’m hyped about that but I love the energy in the building when I’m performing. When it comes down to working in the studio I like that because its me and my boys.
Twist Online : Any particular reasons for going for rap? why not any other music genre?
Kidq : I used to be in a heavy metal band actually when I got better at the drums. I did a few songs with them and just started getting into making beats and creating rap music
Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve as a music artist?
Kidq : Yeah I’m trying to go big and far this is a dream I believe when you have momentum it’s going to be hard to stop you
Twist Online : What’s the best part of being a rapper?
Kidq : The best part is seeing people enjoying your music nothing gets better than that
Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
Kidq : Yeah actually me and Riingz are working on a new EP called young and faded should be dropping in a few weeks or so we put a lot of work in to this and we are just hoping people like it
