Today on our Hot Seat we have an up and coming artist Rane Son. Let’s have a chat with him.
Twist Online : First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?
Rane Son : My professional music career started in 2017 when I came to Florida and recorded some songs with Supreme, and met current managers Dre and Jazzy T from Renaissance at the studio. It’s been all good vibe and energy from that point on and I’m very grateful for my team.
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Rane Son : Music has always been in my family, my inspiration mainly stems from my family. My father would always take me to the studio with him as a young child, which has played a big part of my music inspiration listening to Bob Marley, Yellow Man, Buju and a few others.
Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release Walking Bank Atm?
Rane Son : Walking Bank, with a couple of dollars in my pocket. Always saying I’m a ‘Walking Bank’ around my team surprisingly I heard the perfect Riddim for my slang and went to work. After recording Walking Bank (ATM) the team and I decided its a great money segment song and decided to release it on all platforms.
Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Rane Son : The respond have been great! Tremendously Great!
Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Rane Son : Tough one, I love both because music is my life, but being on stage and seeing the reaction from the crowd and being able to connect to them musically has always been heart felt
Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Rane Son : Reggae/Dancehall
Twist Online : Have you set some target to achieve as a music artist?
Rane Son : Yes! Music has always been my dream, and I am putting in a lot of work to make sure my dream come through.
Twist Online : Are you currently working on any other project?
Rane Son : Yes! A lot of projects are in the works
