Interview with an up & coming hip hop artist Karizma

Today on our Hot Seat we have a up & coming Nashville,TN hip hop/rap artist Karizma, who has been pursuing the music business consistently for 3 years. She also engages in audio engineering & song writing. The city is catching on since she dropped 2 visuals “Day By Day” & “Like I’m Broke” on YouTube. The female MC is here to claim her spot & w/the Nashville music scene growing, she’s certain to claim it.

Twist Online : First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?
Karizma :Well I got locked up in 2008 & I wrote damn near everyday. When I came home in 2011, I hit the studio consistently until my I felt my first project was complete. I released in 2014 & have been putting on ever since.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Karizma :I’ve been writing since I was 9 & was in a rap group in high school. It’s always been something I wanted to do.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent visuals “Day By Day” & “Like I’m Broke”?
Karizma :“Day By Day” is a documentary visual that concentrates on prisoners & their release. “Like I’m Broke” is a hustle anthem. So we shot a trap house party.

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Karizma :Nothing but great feedback & inspiration to keep pushing.

Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Karizma :I love them both, but I will say performing b/c I get to interact with the fans.

Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Karizma :HIp hop

Twist Online : Have you set some target to achieve as a music artist?
Karizma :Yes. I’m on a world wide mission lol

Twist Online : Are you currently working on any other project?
Karizma :Yes. I’m dropping ADHD 2 (Another Dolla Hustlin Daily) in October. It’s a grind tape. You can peep the first one on Spinrilla.
