Interview with Drasko the founder of music social network “Vibendo”

Today on our Hot Seat we have Drasko the founder of music social network Vibendo. It’s a new music social network where users can interact with artists, create and share playlists with their friends and followers, earn money based on the playlist streams. Further info about the platform we will ask from Drasko.

Twist Online : First of all tell us a little about yourself?
Drasko : Hi everybody, my name is Drasko and I’m just a guy which want to change the world and for this goal I want to inspire as much people as possible. Don’t really know what else to add here, this is some of these job interview Twist Onlines which I always try avoid, you probably feel with me. But ok let’s try, how you can imagine I’m originally from Bosnia but since I’m 2 years old I’m living in Switzerland. I love to explore the world, learn about other cultures, meet new people, reading books and at most doing all kind of sport.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to launch vibendo?
Drasko : This journey started with the book „The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People“ from Stephen R. Covey and his life motte „Live Life in crescendo!“. Shortly explained, „the most important work is always ahead of us, never behind us“. It’s so inspired to me that the name „vibendo“ is a combination between „Vibe“ and „Crescendo“.

Twist Online : How it actually works. What’s the process?
Drasko : Vibendo is a music social network where fans and artists can interact with each other while they are listen to unique balkan music. Both will have a timeline which let them know what the people they vibow (follow) are posting, they can create public or private playlists, comment, share, like, vibow (follow) etc. During all these activities users listen to music they know or checking the vibrowse section where we propose them similar songs they didn’t listen yet based on their music taste.

Twist Online : Who will get the most benefit out of this? Fans or the artists?
Drasko : It sounds like all responds but both will have benefits on vibendo. For example Fans will have the possibility to earn direct money through their music taste, so if they create awesome playlists they get more streams than others or they can share and listen music direct with their friends or just let the artists know what they think about their music. On the other side the Balkan artists will get a new platform to generate a bigger and better revenue stream than they would get on the bigger streaming providers, they can interact better with their fanbase or just gain new fans with more music oriented content. That’s just a small outlook what you awaits on vibendo.

Twist Online : As you are into pre-registrations, What kind of response it has received so far ?
Drasko : The numbers are gaining in small steps which are satisfied due the fact that users still don’t know a lot about it and the release is expected to be in July this year.

Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve with this project?
Drasko : We make music streaming more social, more emotional, more Balkan.

Twist Online : Any plans of adding news features into Vibendo in the future?
Drasko : A lot, but just this tip for guessing it will be more than just an app.

Twist Online : Any thing else you would like to share with our readers?
Drasko : I would appreciate if you take a step in the balkan music landscape and let us know what you think about this style of music.

Twist Online : What’s the best way to stay updated about vibendo?
Drasko : Definitely through our Social channels:
