Interview with DrBeat, a talented artist from Belgium

Today on our Hot Seat we have DrBeat with us. Let’s have a chat with him.

Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.

DrBeat : Hello! First thank you to everybody here, and to your readers.
My name is DrBeat, from Liège, Belgium. The French speaking part of the country, Wallonia. I have been into music since a kid. DrBeat is the expression of my “dance” music love. I had radio shows in Belgium, and hosted events in The Netherlands.
“Dream On” is the 1st single of this project. Then came “Consultation” the EP.
Making people dance is my goal. I try to keep it simple and catchy.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?

DrBeat : For real, I don’t know. Because I as too young, and as far as I can remember
I always loved music. Before I even think of doing it. I grew up in Europe 80’s, I was attracted to Funk, Disco, Rock also,.. Now, I am into it because of my Dad, I promised him at least an album.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release “Come With You”?

DrBeat : Ahah! This track is the main title of the EP. It is a smooth club tune to dance to. Not fast paced, but early nightclub hours. The story of this song started when I heard the beat from @Jacquestoni (as always). This time song is not inspired by the beat name.
Come with you is about seduction, romance, desire (as every DrBeat tracks). About the hypnotism caused by a look, creating an irresistible attraction.

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?

DrBeat : Around me, my Fam welcomed it well, DrBeat is a “nice” product, everybody likes my producer’s beats, which makes it easier. Right now, European radios like FUNRADIO are adding him on IG ( @thedoctorbeat), have likes from certified artists, so i am optimistic.
I can always count on Nick Nittoli to give me tips too.

Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?

DrBeat : The one that has me moving, whatever it is. I am more into vocals, so club, 90’s dance, house, deep house, chill out would fit me more.

Twist Online : What’s the best part of being a music artist?

DrBeat : it’s when I have my headphones, isolated in the music. “I only exist in some flows” as my Good Gemini -g33- said in “I need to Know”. I have not experienced any big gig or so yet, but I love this intimacy with the music, me and her.

Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve?

DrBeat : For sure! DrBeat is normally on its way to @thetrapparty on Youtube. Song is @jacquestoni before upload now. I would like to shoot a video for “Dream On” and “Come With You”. I have ideas and the casting is done already.

Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?

DrBeat : Currently, I am on another project, still music. But I can’t disclose it.
I hope it will make some noise. My team for this is: @annodominibeats @annodominination @donppp @killzbeatzuz @dansonn and some more. So you see it is heavy too.
DrBeat will still in his lab, you can always join him. And who knows what he is up to !!!!! Geniuses are unpredictable….
