Interview with hip hop artist FargÔ

Today on our Hot Seat we have a hip hop artist FargÔ with us. Let’s have a chat with him.

Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
FargÔ : Hello world I go by the name of FargÔ. I’m from Queens New York and I’m here to keep elevating the sound of New York music for Hip Hop with that young New York wave and bring that authentic feel back to the city with all the other artist out of New York that’s making noise as well. Shout outs to the guys Also Holding the city down like my guy Jay Critch, A Boogie, and Dave East.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
FargÔ :I realized i wanted to be in the music industry since i was a kid. Growing up with a father  that is a music legend (Weldon Irvine) R.I.P i got to see all the impact one person can make and see all the love from random people that cherished the art of music, so since then I knew that’s the position i wanted to be in as well. then Fast forward to when i first became a artist and started to feel the impact i was having with people i knew for sure i was doing what i am supposed to be doing with my music.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release?
FargÔ : My latest mixtape “LIL” Dropped October 29th Is the project that really took me from regular artist trying to make it to that next level of recognition. For the first time i started noticing not only am i hot in my own city but I’m getting love all the way from L.A which is what made me decide to do a couple of the music videos for songs like “Feelin Me” and “Murder” in L.A. This project was also by far my highest streaming project I’ve released as well which help me realized how fast a fanbase can grow when you pay attention to your craft.

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
FargÔ : Since my Mixtape “LIL” has dropped a my buzz has gotten that much larger now I am focusing on headlining my own shows, as well as now opportunities I would have to go out of the way for are way more easy to obtain for instance landing a feature from a artist that before this mixtape dropped people would never think i would be a blue to pull off.

Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
FargÔ : If I had to choose between Working in the studio Or being on stage. I would definitely choose working in the studio. Not that performing isn’t amazing as well but I feel like for a person that actually cares about the music they make more then what they can make from there music would always choose creating over presenting every time and I’m definitely one of those that put extra care and emotion within my songs which is why i have such a strong fan base because they know I’m never cheating them on a record.

Twist Online : Tell us about your upcoming projects?
FargÔ : On December 7th I will be dropping my Newest Single “Japan” on all streaming platforms and I’m really excited for this record o drop because a lot of rappers now a days I feel like have to box them selves in to the climate of music to be Hot, unless you have that versatility to blend Fire melodies with the suer lyrics which I’m very grateful that I have so I know my fans are definitely going to enjoy this record weather“ it be in the winter or the summer this is going to be playing throughout the clubs anywhere anytime.

Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve?
FargÔ : For this upcoming year of 2019 Just know FargÔ is coming for everything and knocking down all barriers so by the end of 2019 going into year 2020 people will be saying FargÔ better be on the next XXL Freshman list or hottest new artist or whatever else accolades are for the newest and hottest acts currently out. And all that comes from me knowing how bad i actually want this which is why i actually put in the work as to where a lot of others just say they want it.

Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
FargÔ : As far as projects I definitely left my fans full with 2 projects this year so after I dropped this single and work it for how ever long then I think its going to be time to put together another full project for my fans because I know they’ll definitely looking for it after “Japan” drops on December 7th.
