Interview With Mexican Rapper Danny Eich
We recently interviewed Danny Eich a local Fontana California rapper. He does rap in 2 languages Spanish and English. He recently released his music video “Me Hice Pelionero” and “oye Sorullo” now available on YouTube.
Twist Online : Please introduce yourself to the readers and how and when did you first get into rapping?
Danny Eich : Hello Im Mexican Rapper Danny Eich. I’ve always been into music, I first started rapping when I was 15 years old and I released a home made music video that made me realize I wanted to take my passion to the next level and beyond.
Twist Online : What proved to be influence to make you join the music industry in a very early age?
Danny Eich : Growing up I loved watching rappers/artists perform live and I always craved being on a stage and dominating it. One day I saw a music video by artists Wisin Y Yandel titled “Gracias A Ti” and I felt the passion when Wisin sang his verse. that day I told myself I would have those types of crowds singing with me.
Twist Online : You recently released video “Me Hice Pelionero” and “oye Sorullo”, tell us about that?
Danny Eich : I grew up in a Mexican household and “Oye Sorullo” has been a song that I have listened to for as long as I can remember. one night I was writing a song and I started playing around singing that particular song “Oye Sorullo” and I thought it sounded dope on the trap beat I was using at the time and I just had to make it happen. “Me Hice Pelionero” is a song talking about a Mexican worker and instead of telling the story as a corrido i decided to use a trap beat so the new generation can enjoy.

Twist Online : How is the response to your video?
Danny Eich : So far people have been giving me positive feed backs and I just hope those feed backs keep coming.
Twist Online : Is there any particular reason to become a rapper. Why not any other music genre?
Danny Eich : I feel like becoming a rapper is not something that I chose, but rather it chose me because once I get in that studio everything comes naturally the way that the song is written is the way the music guided me.
Twist Online : You can rap in two language spanish and english. You personaly enjoy rapping in which language?
Danny Eich : it just depends on the beat, sometimes the beat brings out a Spanish flow and sometimes an English flow takes over. I don’t have a preference I just let my brain and music work as they go. its not like I can sit down one day and say “today I’m writing a spanish song” but rather let a language take over.
Twist Online : What are your future goals as a music artist?
Danny Eich : One of my goals is to be the first Mexican artist to be signed to Young Money.
Twist Online : Are you working on any other new project? when it will be released?
Danny Eich : I am currently working on a few new songs and the music videos to “I Know You Love Me”, “I’m A Monster” and “Pericocaina”. The Video to “I Know You Love Me” and “I’m A Monster” are scheduled to be released in 2017 and “Pericocaina” is currently in production and its scheduled to be released in October of 2016.
Twist Online : Are you active on social media? what’s the best way to follow you?
