We are sharing our recent interview with him.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Nick Almighty :
To be honest music is in my bones. On both my mother’s and father’s side of the family pretty much all of us can either sing, rap, or play instruments. What made me specifically choose to be a hiphop artist in particular was a combination of influence from local Memphis artists a I heard growing up and learning how to rap from my uncle Zed who is also a rapper.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release “Iron Throne”?
Nick Almighty :
The new single “Iron Throne” I just dropped on 4/24/20 is basically a song where I talk about my disappointment in the way hiphop is being represented and what I think needs to change. I feel the the rap game has been watered down over the years and I made this song to light a fire under my peers so in the future thet will put out more of what I would call real rap instead of this garbage that’s been on the airwaves lately.

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Nick Almighty :
Since release Iron Throne has already received great reviews in blogs like Word is Bond from Hype Machine, received thousands of streams through Spotify and other streaming services, and has been picked up for airplay by a lot of radio stations.

Twist Online : What attracts you more, Working in studios or performing on stage?
Nick Almighty :
That’s a hard one to call right there. As much as I live hitting the both and dropping the perfect bars on the perfect beat and let my creative muscle flex to the fullest, There is nothing like performing in front of a packed crowd full of fans ready to turn up to your music. When the fans love you that’s the best validation.

Twist Online : Tell us about your upcoming label “King 5 Music”?
Nick Almighty :
Hearing the horror stories about shady business practices of major labels along with having a strong desire to be our own boss, me ( Nick Almighty ) and co owner King Meeteeie decided the best way to make our music dreams a reality was to start our own label. We decided to name our label King 5 Music and from then on history was made. King 5 Music will be launching in May 2020 and will looking for artists to add to the roster along side Nick Almighty & King Meeteeie.

Twist Online : Have you set any goals to achieve?
Nick Almighty :
Well the goals as we speak are to have a highly successful and lucrative music campaign with the newly released Iron Throne single and Upcoming Smokey City Raw album and Bring worldwide attention and acclaim to myself (Nick Almighty) and King 5 Music. I want my name and the name of the label to be synonymous with real hiphop.

Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
Nick Almighty :
Yes I’m planning on dropping my new Album titled Smokey City Raw in May 2020. I also am already working on the next album to come after that and securing some big name features for the album.
