Interview with music producer Fidem Beats

Today on our Hot Seat we have a talented music producer Fidem Beats with us. Let’s have a chat with him.

Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
Fidem Beats : Yeah, I go by Fidem Beats. I am a Hip-Hop/EDM/POP Music Producer from America. I Signed a distribution deal with “Infinite Elements” out of Canada earlier this year.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Fidem Beats :I remember riding down the road some summer day when I was like Four or Five with my mom.. and that single “One More Time” by Daft Punk played through the car stereo and I remember being like “That, That is what I want to do.”

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent project “Hood Lovin?
Fidem Beats : Hood Lovin to me is so beautiful as a concept and single. I started laying down keys one day in Omnisphere, I was motivated by the new Weeknd album that just dropped. I layed down 3 melodies and the vibe was just so right. I had the drums and pattern finished within the hour. I pulled out my pen & pad and got to business. “Hood Lovin” is the first single that I have completed from start to finish 100% in 4 Hours.

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Fidem Beats : It is the first release within music that has left my inboxes with so much love I simply do not have the time to respond to everyone. It blows me away knowing how much work I put into this single in comparison to every other track I have spent days producing, recording, and mastering. I am just so thankful that God has put me in this position to send positive messages to my fans.

Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Fidem Beats : Honestly I cannot choose one over the other. I could not explain in words the emotions, the vibe, and the relationships that begin in studios between artists. But, performing your music live in front of crowds that are dancing to your life story through music… There is no higher feeling on this planet for me.

Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Fidem Beats : I love the raw emotion of hip hop.. I cherish the melodic complexity of EDM.. And I love the soul that you can hear from the voices of Pop music. I simply cannot choose only one Genre.

Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve?
Fidem Beats : Yes! Compared to any other year as a musician 2017 gave me so much drive and motivation. I hope to work with some big names in the industry this year. My main goal however is to earn enough income as a producer/artist to live entirely off of my music salary within the next year.

Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
Fidem Beats : Yes, I plan on shaking up our genre this summer with three different releases. I am working on a solo album produced by only myself and engineered by myself. I am working on another album to feature about fifteen tracks with artists that I admire from the region. We have underrated artists right here in the Tri Cities TN (Bristol, Johnson City, and Kingsport). The third project however is going to remain a secret until the day it drops. I like to keep fans on their toes for new material.
