
Interview with music producer Shamul
Shamul, a Lounge, Chill-out and House Music producer, if you need to categorise him into a genre. He prefers calling himself a ‘freestyler’! Shamul started his journey as a musician by being part of a local band ‘Elixer’ as a bass guitarist. Soon, Shamul learnt DJ-ing and studio works. Shamul’s first album, ‘Lounge Bar, Around Asia’, was a lounge and chill-out music album, released in the year 2004; second album, ‘Time’, in the year, 2006. Shamul also did a side project called, ‘Dirty Trick’, which was Deep / Indi House. Released a few singles, remixes and his self titled album followed by an EP. Started an International hit podcast by the name of ‘Tipsy Sessions by Shamul’. Released a collection of 6 tracks under the name of ‘River of my Dreams’ in June 2019.
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Shamul : No one in particular. Got into the industry as didn’t
know much besides music.
Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release River of my Dreams”?
Shamul : River of my Dreams is Bundle of songs – it is a pre release of the upcoming album… by the end of this year… 🙂
Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?

Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Shamul : Have more than a favourite Genre – Broadly speaking, I love Electronic Underground music.
Twist Online : What’s the best part of being a music artist?
Shamul : The best part is being able to create something.
Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve?
Shamul : My main goal is to do something good today. Don’t know about tomorrow.

Shamul : Yes as i mentioned earlier, Working on an album and besides that on my podcast show – Tipsy Sessions by Shamul.
