Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
Herb Middleton : My name is Herb Middleton, I’m a multi platinum record producer/ songwriter and musician. I’m also an owner of an indpendent record label called NuVybe Records
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Herb Middleton : I was inspired by Loris Holland a legendary musical genius, producer & songwriter that took me under his wings.
Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release ?
Herb Middleton : i released a record called “Look At Us” which I believe is the first “curvy” woman’s anthem.
Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Herb Middleton : The initial response was great. I’m releasing a remix of the same song with a little Afro Pop flavor.
Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Herb Middleton : Now..big band classics with a touch of Jazz.
Twist Online : What’s the best part of being a music producer?
Herb Middleton : The best part is producing and bringing something out of the artist they didn’t know they had.
Twist Online : You have worked with so many artists in your career so far, any particular artist you really enjoyed working with?
Herb Middleton : Al Green
Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
Herb Middleton : Yes a project called I.C.O.N.I.C.
