Interview with producer, artist, songwriter Slon

We are sharing our recent interview with songwriter, producer, and artist Slon.

Twist Online : First of all tell us about the start of your music career.
Slon : I started very young, I was 15yo or so. Back there I was producing friends. I also enjoy a HipHop group doing beats for them. But at some point, I started to work with metal and I did that for more than 20 years. In 2019 I decided to change my path and start a new journey as a Pop/EDM Music Producer.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into the music industry?
Slon : Back there was more about something that I like to do. But now, is more about how I feel when I start to work in a new song. All that process making a song, bring life to a track, makes me want to do it more and more. It’s kind of addictive.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release We Love?
Slon : “We Love” is my very first song with a singer and my third EDM song released. Is very special for me because there are years of dedication behind this track. I’m glad to have Ariana singing the song with her beautiful voice. I had a great time producing this song. I’m very excited

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Slon : It’s amazing how this track got so many people’s attention. I didn’t expect that. A lot of people, radios, blogs, websites all around the world listening and talking about the song. I’m so thankful for all of them to listen to the song.

Twist Online : What attracts you more, Working in studios or performing on stage?
Slon : I love to make songs. Be in the studio is awesome. But go out there play my songs for people, get that crazy energy they have. Both of then are amazing in different ways.

Twist Online : What’s the best part of being a music producer?
Slon : Bring to life something that is just inside you. That melody that I can sing in my head, you know? See that melody out there, people singing that melody. That’s amazing.

Twist Online : You need some specific kind of environment for writing tracks?
Slon : There are no rules. I can write a song in the elevator when I accidentally sing a new melody. Or I can start playing some instrument and get inspired for the harmony. it’s always a new situation where I write a song. It’s something very natural for me.

Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
Slon : Yes! I wrote 15 songs last May. So there are more songs coming soon. And I didn’t stop writing songs, which means more songs to work on. I’m working with singers around the world to make these songs. For July 20th, I’ll release “Fantasy”, and July 30th “Tonight”. August 10th I’ll release “You Let me”, and August 20th “On & On”.
