Kilo M.O.E. : I was inspired long ago by my brother. He’s seven years older than me and always had his own Dj equipment. He made Tapes and I always aspired to write raps, break dance, and draw Graffiti. The true roots of hip hop have always been my inspiration. From there as I got older and got into the street life writing about it was of great importance to me so at that point I wanted to be involved in the industry as a business. Simply just to get my perspective out to anyone who’d listen to my way of seeing things.

Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Kilo M.O.E. : I have a different love for both. I’ve always been a natural performer, public speaker, and Emcee. I love to cater to the crowd and people who love to watch live entertainment. However though I simply am in love with the process of the studio and being deeply involved in creativity. Studio work is just something I could do for months straight and forget six months went by. I’m attracted heavily to both!
Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Kilo M.O.E. : I don’t typically do favorites. I do moods. Some days 70’s classic rock is my favorite. Others 80’s Pop. Sometimes I’m deeply into 60’s and 70’s soul and funk. Hip Hop Gangsta 1994 and earlier is my Go to. I simply love music and my tastes vary and that also goes with all the many places I’ve lived and what was available to listen to at the time.
