Interview with rapper Mollyboi 500

Today on our Hot Seat we have a talented rap artist Mollyboi 500 with us. Let’s have a chat with him.

Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
Mollyboi 500 :
I’m Mollyboi 500! I’m about to be the next big Rap Artist from my city to take over the Hip Hop scene.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Mollyboi 500 :
Honestly, it’s been embedded in me since I was a kid. I was just always coming up with songs and wanting to perform. I saw rappers like Jay and 50 really rap about about the street life and what they’ve been through and get all type of love for being real, and that’s how I am; Everything I rap about really is apart of my life and I stand on that, and I know it’s somebody that’s gonna relate to it.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release ?
Mollyboi 500 :
I recently released my song “Where you From,” on YouTube and its a double video with my song “Street Nigga,” on there too. I was feeling good when I made this song. The beat already grabs your attention and then I came on there with so much energy and speaking straight facts and it’s been a hit!

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Mollyboi 500 :
All good things from radio stations, podcast, and internet groups. People constantly comment on how my energy is unmatched. I been told a lot that I don’t sound like the majority of Chicago rappers, and that they like that I have my own style, which is important to me to always be my own person. People love the song though; it’s catchy and the beat is smackin; You have no choice but to want to get up and turn up when you hear it.

Twist Online : What do you enjoy more, working in studios or performing on stage?
Mollyboi 500 :
The studio is like my second home and the stage is like a vacation, so in a way both of them make me feel comfortable and happy to be there, but there is something about performing live with the audience screaming your song and dancing to your music; it really makes me feel good as a Artist and that’s why I always make sure when I’m on that stage I’m giving 1000%, and it won’t be a dry moment at all.

Twist Online : What’s the best part of being a music artist?
Mollyboi 500 :
Everything! I get to meet a lot of different people and travel. It’s always a good time shooting the music videos. I just really love it all. I can’t see myself doing anything else.

Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve?
Mollyboi 500 :
Yeah, I want to go down in the history books.
I wanna be one of the people that 20 years from now, everybody still know me and rock with me.
Right now, I just want to tour a lot and and perform non stop, make songs with people in all different area codes, and gain as many fans as possible.

Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
Mollyboi 500 :
My manager is putting together a tour for me from Illinois to Atlanta, so I’m working on my “Now or Never” Mixtape, so I can have new music for the tour along with my other songs.
