Interview with R&B & reggae musician Proph3t N’ser

Today on our Hot Seat we have a talented musician Proph3t N’ser with us. American Born Musician Proph3t N’ser , has used his voice to speak to the world through music to give a voice to people worldwide and ignite the spiritual fire of positive energy that burns in everyone. Let’s have a chat with him.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Proph3t N’ser :
I would say my biggest inspirations to do music is the feeling I get when I do it. It’s something that I been doing since I was young and has music has been in my family for a long time so its like I was born into it.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release?
Proph3t N’ser :
I just released my new debut single May 24th “You”. It’s a project that I’m really proud of. Being an independent artist and doing the music you love doesn’t always work out. So the response I’ve been getting from the listeners is really positive feeling.

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Proph3t N’ser :
Life for real, like I said being an independent artist you don’t have the financial backing of an artist with a major label. So after the first 3 weeks and we at 25k streams that’s something you get really proud of, and I really have to Big up the team I have without them I wouldn’t be where I am today. So definitely big up my manager Nika, the engineer team @will2powermusic and my mentor Errol Moore. They really put me into a position to make the moves I’m making now.

Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Proph3t N’ser :
I love all music, I really take inspirations from all different types of music but on my playlist you will find mostly Reggae, hip hop, R&B, Afro Beat so yeah.

Twist Online : What’s the best part of being a music artist?
Proph3t N’ser :
The best part of being a music artist would to me would have to be the process. staying up till 4am – 5am working on music. Presenting the product to people who love to hear what you say, its all a good feeling.

Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve?
Proph3t N’ser :
Yeah, always. Sometimes I have to be careful when I set my goals. Because my work ethic going to make sure I reach them. My goals at the beginner of this year was to perform at three festivals and I had that book by the first two weeks of the year. So Now I’m aiming bigger, and that’s to have a Top Ten Billboard track. So the team just working hard making music and watching the charts.

Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
Proph3t N’ser :
Yes, We will be releasing a Lyric Video to the Single “You” later this month, and releasing an official video soon after that. We are working on the “EP” right now too. Everything is green with that we just waiting on the right time to release it.
