Interview with recording artist Ajani Hendrick

Today on our Hot Seat we have a talented recording artist Ajani Hendrick with us. Let’s have a chat with him.

Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
Ajani Hendrick :
My name is Ajani Hendrick. I am a recording artist based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Ajani Hendrick :
I grew up listening to Boyz 2 Men, Mariah Carey, Usher, Monica and Brandy and I was totally fascinated with their music. Unlike my friends who enjoyed playing outside, I would stay indoors and listen to music for hours. I think this is where it all started.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release ?
Ajani Hendrick :
Just released a brand new project entitled, “Thank God You Cheated.” The song has a catchy, yet forward-thinking vibe. I wrote the song to celebrate my current relationship, after going through a bad break up with someone who wasn’t loyal. In hindsight, I’m grateful it ended when it did because I ended up with the girl I really wanted.

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Ajani Hendrick :
Very positive. People are receiving it well.

Twist Online : Working in studios or performing on stage, what attracts you more?
Ajani Hendrick :
Performing on stage. I love the energy and vibe of performing in front of a crowd.

Twist Online : What’s the best part of being a music artist?
Ajani Hendrick :
You can actually have a huge impact on people’s lives.

Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve?
Ajani Hendrick :
At the moment, the goal is to continue growing and expand my brand presence and reach.

Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
Ajani Hendrick :
Currently working on my follow up single, which will be available in October.
